Audience

Multi-agency, family-facing partners working with families with children from birth to five years.

Aims

The course will provide an overview of Peep LTP's five key strands mapped to early years foundation stage areas of learning. You will receive access to resources for family-facing sessions linked to child development topics, including session plans and parent handouts. This will enable you to deliver Peep LTP to families with children in groups, one-to-one or embed within existing sessions.

Peep LTP ensures increased parental confidence in the home learning environment, improved skills for starting reception, earlier identification, signposting to relevant support, strengthened partnerships between practitioners and parents and practitioner upskilling.

Cost details

The delegates can apply for a funded place and a bursary; if they do not meet the criteria, then the cost of the course is £312.

Funded course cost requirements:

To entitle you to a free place on the course, you must meet all of the below criteria:

1. Work as a family-facing practitioner with families with children from birth to five years.
2. Your organisation is in Cambridgeshire.
3. You have planned capacity to deliver family-facing sessions using Peep.
4. Your organisation's Peep lead must agree to complete a half-termly, six- to eight-week feedback form noting how you are delivering Peep and its impact.

£312 for a course place if you do not meet the criteria.

Bursary requirements:

To entitle your organisation to a £300 bursary, paid after you attend the Peep training, you must:

1. Meet all of the funded course cost requirements above.
2. Attend both full days of the Peep training.
