The Healthy Schools Support service provides co-ordinated health and wellbeing support to all schools across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
The Healthy Schools Support service is comprised of a network of quality assured, local partner organisations that work in collaboration to provide lesson resources, training, consultancy and focused events on a wide range of health themes from physical activity, healthy eating and mental health to keeping safe, building resilience and developing relationships. We also facilitate the delivery of multi-agency projects which are developed in response to identified health & wellbeing needs and deliver our bespoke Catch Your Breath Smoking and Vaping prevention programme for both Primary and Secondary schools.
The Healthy Schools Support Service also offers an accreditation award scheme for those schools wishing to adopt a whole school approach to health and wellbeing and to both evidence and promote their commitment to delivering against the Ofsted Health Education curriculum standards.
