0 - 19 Place Planning and Sufficiency

The 0-19 Place Planning Team is responsible for planning, reviewing and commissioning early years and childcare and school places for children and young people in the 0 to 19 age range, and up to the age of 25 for those with Special Educational Need and/or Disability (SEND), in response to housing developments and demographic change to ensure that the Council meets its statutory place planning duties.

Education Sufficiency Overview

The Education Sufficiency Overview, at the link below, provides an annual update to the Council’s responsibilities towards childcare and education for the 0-19 age range, and up to the age of 25 for children and young people with Special Educational Need and Disability (SEND). It gives an overview of current pressures on a district and local level, and the Council’s planned response to them.
