Year 6 Writing Moderation 2025
Thursday 28 and Friday 29 November 2024 – Preparing for Assessment Course – Focus on new moderation visit format introduced in 2024. Especially for school leaders who were last moderated in 2019. Places can be booked on the School Improvement Service online booking system.
Friday 16 May 2025 – Majority of schools who will be moderated in 2025 by Cambridgeshire LA will be contacted by email at midday. (Schools selected by STA for a 48-hour notice moderation will not be contacted on this day.)
Wednesday 21 May 2025 – Meeting for Year 6 teachers in schools being moderated at Over Community Centre. 1.30pm until 5pm
Monday 2 June 2025 – Online meeting for Year 6 teachers in schools being moderated. 4pm until 5.30pm
Monday 2 June until Friday 27 June 2025 – Moderation visits are carried out
Friday 27 June 2025 – Deadline to submit Year 6 teacher assessments for writing on the Primary Assessment Gateway

End of Key Stage 2 Writing Assessment:
Session 1 27 November 2024 – Over Community Centre or 28 November 2024 – Huntingdon FA. 1.30pm until 4.30pm. Cost: £75 for Cambridgeshire LA schools or £85 for Cambridgeshire Academies and out of county schools. Booking: Assessment tab on Booking Bug.
