Monday 1 June to Friday 26 June - Local authorities carry out PSC monitoring visits to a sample of schools.

- Phonics screening check materials (excluding braille) available on the NCA Portal
- Phonics screening check HDF available on the NCA Portal
Monday 8 June to Friday 12 June - Schools administer the phonics screening check
Monday 15 June to Friday 19 June - Timetable variation week for pupils who were absent for the phonics screening check
Monday 22 June - Phonics screening check materials and threshold mark published on GOV.UK
Thursday 25 June – Deadline to upload phonics data to Cambridgeshire LA via S2S
Tuesday 30 June - Deadline for schools to submit the phonics screening check HDF on the NCA Portal
KS2 Statutory Assessment
The Y4 MTC
Monday 1 June to Friday 12 June - MTC administration period
Monday 1 June to Friday 19 June - MTC HDF available to schools on the MTC service
Monday 15 June to Friday 19 June - Schools administer the MTC to any absent pupils or where administration has been delayed due to technical difficulties
Friday 19 June - Deadline for schools to ensure pupils have completed the MTC or have been recorded as not taking the check, and to submit their MTC HDF on the MTC service by 5pm
Monday 22 June - MTC results available on the MTC service for schools that have submitted their HDF
End of KS2 Writing Moderation
Monday 1 June to Friday 26 June - Local authorities undertake external moderation of KS2 English writing TA
Friday 26 June - Deadline for headteachers and local authorities, where applicable, to submit KS2 TA data on the NCA Portal

KS2 Statutory Assessment
Tuesday 7 July –
- KS2 test results and marked script images available on the NCA Portal for KS2 schools
- KS2 test results available on the NCA Portal for local authorities, multi-academy trusts (MATs) and key stage 3 (KS3) schools with a year 7 intake
- Raw score to scaled score conversion tables available on GOV.UK
Friday 17 July - Deadline for schools to submit marking review applications on the NCA Portal by 11.59pm

Audience: Headteachers, Assessment Leads and senior leaders.
Focus: A two part course preparing schools for statutory assessment procedures linked to Year 1 and Year 2 phonics screening, Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check and end of KS2 SATs, teacher assessment and writing moderation.
Structure:
Session 1 - 27 November 2025 at Over Community Centre 9.30am until 12pm

Leading Improvements in Phonics
Audience: Phonics and early reading leaders, English subject leaders. Year 1 teachers are also invited to attend Session 3.
Focus: During this three-part course, phonics leaders will explore the key principles which underpin the effective teaching of phonics and early reading. In all three sessions, delegates will have the opportunity to reflect on the role of the Phonics Leader in developing practice across the school.
