You may be aware that the DfE have reviewed their exclusions and suspensions guidance (it is linked in the Cambridgeshire Exclusions section above along with the head teacher's checklist and example exclusion/suspension letters that you may find helpful.)
Cambridgeshire will be producing updated guidance during the Autumn term.
In the new guidance, schools must inform the LA ‘without delay’ of an exclusion. To aid this we have set up the following inbox for schools who do NOT use SIMs

Those using SIMs do NOT need to use this system as their exclusions automatically feed through to LA.
Please include in your email:
- Pupil Name
- Pupil DOB
- Pupil UPN
- School Name
- Category: Fixed Term, Lunchtime only Exclusion or Permanent.
- Start Date & End Date
- Reason:
- Bullying
- Damage
- Drug/Alcohol related
- Misuse of social media
- Persistence Disruptive Behaviour
- Physical Assault (Adult)
- Psychical Assault (Pupil)
- Racist Abuse
- Sexual Misconduct
- Theft
- Verbal Abuse (Adult)
- Verbal Abuse (Pupil)
