The Property Compliance Team is highly experienced in the management of school security, ensuring that schools are able to discharge their responsibilities relating to safeguarding, and their general duties under health and safety, security and data protection legislation (e.g. legislation related to the use and operation of CCTV and other security devices).
We can help with:
- Provision of advice and guidance on the management of security and compliance with relevant regulations;
- Arranging, undertaking and development of a school specific Security Risk Assessment;
- Investigation of theft and other criminal related activity and provision of a written report identifying recommendations to prevent a recurrence;
- Oversight and audit of any security surveys undertaken at the school
- Maintenance of relevant security records
- Advice and, where appropriate, arrangement and audit of any security systems installed
- Site CCTV Surveys and Project management of installation
- Management of "out of hours" monitored CCTV via the Council’s approved supplier to detect and to prevent anti-social behaviour
