SEND Parent and Carer Event
This event was for parents and carers of children with special educational needs and took place in March 2023.
The Local Authority presented the programme of changes that are underway to improve the SEND system.
Parents and carers were given the opportunity to share their views and learn more about:
- Significant areas of focus for SEND.
- Special School places.
- EHCP processes.
- SEN Support.
- Information sharing (Local Offer).
- Building confidence in the system.
We are hoping to hold a similar event in 2024 and the outcomes from this event will be available shortly.
