Working closely with all Children’s services across Cambridgeshire in a variety of forms, the Early Years Safeguarding Team promote the best practice in Early Years settings including HAF programmes and childminders. We ensure practitioners are kept up to date with and working within current safeguarding legislation and guidance.

A robust programme of training is delivered across the academic year to allow practitioners to be skilled in the safeguarding of the children and families they care for. Bespoke options are available to train a full team and maintain a fully compliant and skilled collection of staff poised to identify concerns.

We play a key role in representing Early Years Settings at a range of Multi-agency meetings and support all aspects of Safeguarding in Early Years.
