Webinars and training

Sways

The Learn Together webpages are designed to give you an overarching bank of information and guidance regarding the different areas of attendance. At the same time, we recognise that school staff’s time is in huge demand, and that there is an appetite for smaller, pinpointed training materials that relate to specific areas of attendance practice. That is why we have created a bank of 5-minute training resources in Sway format. Written on a range of issues that professionals working in attendance roles need to understand, these easy-to-digest materials cover specific guidance and processes that we have identified a training need for.

The Sways are ideal to read and then return to when you have an applicable case, or even print out as mini ‘go-to’ guides for ease of reference. They are constantly tweaked to reflect the most current DfE guidance, so you can be confident in seeing the latest live information when you click on them. This ‘CCC Webinars and Sways’ link lists all the available Sways, along with a clickable hyperlink to access them: CCC Webinars and Sways links.xlsx - Google Sheets. We can also send Sways to you via the NSA Helpline.

Sways of the Week can be forwarded to whoever needs to see them, in order to promote good practice and clear processes in your school. We always like to respond to need, so feel free to contact the NSA Helpline (NSA.Helpline@Cambridgeshire.gov.uk) with ideas for future Sways of the Week. We would love to hear from you.
