Cambridgeshire Speech and Language Therapy Service is if you have concerns about a child’s speech and language. How to refer has information how to refer your child.
Early Support – Where there are wider concerns beyond, speech, language and communication or concerns about a child’s social communication that are significant and complex a referral to Early support may be more appropriate. If the parents and carers agree the setting needs to undertake an Early Help Assessment.
SEND Surgery – SEND Surgeries to provide an opportunity to get advice on what to do when you think a child may benefit from additional support. We can help you understand the Early Support Pathway and wider SEND offer. Please outline the areas you wish to cover when making your booking via Booking Bug. Please note it is a requirement, unless parental permission is in place, that children remain anonymous.
SALT Drop-in – These sessions are available to any professionals working with preschool children (birth until they transition to reception). If you have any questions or need advice about hypothetical cases, whether to refer to speech and language therapy and how, signposting to some resources, how to support a child you are working with etc., then please book into a slot.
