In 2025, Talking Together in Cambridgeshire (TTiC) hosted its fourth Festival of Stories, which focused on the value of everyday tales.
The Festival Stories shines a light on how stories can be used in fun and interactive ways to bring a sparkle of magic to the everyday and boost young children’s communication, language, and literacy skills. The stories shared reflect children’s everyday experiences so they can see that the things that are important to them are taken seriously, and this shows we value their experiences.
The festival also highlights how 50 Things to Do Before You’re Five can be used by parents and carers across Cambridgeshire to create new stories based on everyday activities, help build memories and bring families together.
