Education Wellbeing

The Education Wellbeing Team promotes the health, safety, wellbeing and resilence of children and young people with schools and partners to:

  • Be the leading team in providing health promotion and prevenitives interactions for children and young people with schools and partners
  • Develop and deliver innovative approaches which support schools and settings

The Education Team Development Manager works across services including public health to identify need and develop partnerships to plan, facilitate, broker, commission and provide service to promote the wellbeing of children and young people. 

Joint Practice

Comprises the Outdoor Education Service, Personal Social and Health Education (PSHE), PE and School Sport and Health and Safety (Curriculum), and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

The Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the Health Related Behaviour Survey with Schools, manages life Education and the Educational component of the Kick Ash programme.
