Burwell House

Burwell House is a Centre for residential and non-residential learning outside the classroom. With 60 beds in our fantastic 18th century house, and 3 acres of inspirational gardens we offer high quality learning experiences across the curriculum in a relaxing, homely and welcoming environment. 

In addition the Centre is able to offer its facilities as a bookable venue for residential and non-residential training, meetings, conferences and retreats.

Services and Charges:  

  • Residential learning outside the classroom (KS1 and KS2 groups)

  • Subjects and sessions across the curriculum including use of our TV studio, local geography, history, environmental science, art and design, orienteering and mapwork and a wide range of teambuilding activities
  • Day visits for primary and secondary schools in all of the subject areas mentioned above.
  • Catered residential venue (conferences, training, rehearsal, retreat, family gathering, etc)
  • Self-catering residential venue
  • Day meeting / conference room hire
