Quality Framework for Early Years (PVI) Providers

Early Years Quality Framework - resource for private, voluntary and independent providers

The Quality Framework is well established with day nurseries, pre-schools and independent schools in the county. It has been updated using the latest research and is aligned to the revised EYFS and the Ofsted Inspection Framework. It is designed to support ongoing, evidence based self-evaluation, and give indicators on how to improve practice further.

The Quality Framework is ideal to develop robust self-evaluation, and makes sure that the whole staff team and parents are part of ongoing reflection on the practice in the setting, and meeting the needs of all children. Good practice indicates that self-evaluation should be an ongoing and inclusive process, and an integral part of how your setting runs.

Member settings will receive an annual adviser visit based on their chosen aspect of the Quality Framework, and non-members can book visits to cover any areas where they need support.
