Cambridgeshire Assessment System for Early Years (CASEY)

Cambridgeshire Assessment System for Early Years (CASEY)

CASEY is a shared system which helps settings in Cambridgeshire to manage their information on children’s progress throughout the Early Years Foundation Stage.

The Early Years Service has developed the system, with Sentinel Partners Limited and input from providers, to draw together information on children’s development and progress, and facilitate information sharing between settings and the local authority.

A secure online portal is pre-populated with details of settings and funded children.  Other features enable non-funded children to be added, and a specially designed dashboard automatically summarises children’s data. Reports in the system enable the progress of key target groups to be measured against their peers.

This page contains basic information and frequently asked questions about the system. Existing users should e-mail casey.earlyyears@cambridgeshire.gov.uk with questions or any problems in accessing the system.

To register for an account please complete the form located here. Join the many users already enjoying the benefits of CASEY to track their children and share data with the local authority.

There is no charge for access for one user per setting - you don't have to be an Early Years member! Additional logins can be purchased on an annual basis.

Once you have received your set-up email, you can log in to CASEY at
